I retrofit my lights on my 2007 Suzuki swift. Stock plugs are h4 and the projectors I retrofit are H1 bulbs. I bought a h4 relay harness(it uses one h4 plug from driver side and it connects to the battery too),two ballasts and two H1 xenon bulbs. I put everything together and it works fine,except one thing. When I switch on my lights and close them after a while, trying to open them again only drivers headlight came on. If I try on/off several times the passenger side work too. I thought my ballasts are bad and I bought new ones. But still the same. Is that a problem with my relay harness?

I have a 05 Pilot my lowbeams dont work i changed bulbs , fuse , relay and switch . So i tried using HID kit and still nothing will using this relay kit help get my lows to work

The relay is used to control the bulb adjustment for the hi/low beam. When energized, the magnet pulls the bulb into the housing for a hi beam pattern. The relay is not used for low voltage conditions

1:35 When I connect them two wires directly into the harness, do I just connect them into one side or both side? That means if its too far then I would have to add extra wires to reach one side right??

Hello, I just recently installed hid lights and they work, but intermittently one will turn off and then back on. Both lights are doing this, but at different times of one another. Any suggestions, thanks.

relay need when if you have a really old car that cant provided power from factory wirenes ,,most newer car build with safe relay and fuse .and yet stander is 55w but most hid kits 35w is good

So then the harness that went into your 9006 bulb stays loose?

Are all the A3's wired for fog lights even if you didn't have them to begin with?

need projector housing for it to be legal, don't do this without the proper housing.

So I have a problem... 2010 tsx I'm changing my DRL/HI to HID.. Followed your video on how to install the ballast, bulb and anti flicker but when the DRL are on they go on for a sec then turn off but when I put high beams on no issue.. Any ideas??

If your tired of the cheaply made and problematic HID kits from companies with no technical support, then I highly recommend you check out the Opt7 brand name. They are all over Amazon and eBay and their reputation and feedback is stellar. If you contact them they respond and when they respond they provide answers! Either way just wanted to make sure that all you Automotive fanatics avoided shady sellers and bought the right HID kit the first time from Opt7.

mine stay on then turn off, and its not the bulb or ballest because this is my 3rd hid kit I got and the same thing happens

hi when installing an HID kit on a 2005 GMC Sierra does a relay wiring harness needed to power up the Ballast or just a 55 watt ballast directly the low beam headlight in order for it to operate?

next lets see the low beam pattern with cutoff line everything iv'e seen has horrible beam pattern and only blinds oncomming drivers and i don't blinded drivers driving towards me and yes i have the same headlight assembly

You run the "negative" to a ground on the vehicle, not the battery.

R u serious? This is the worst install video ever! And do you know anything? U must connect the other side to the relay as well in order to ensure that if that ballast needs enough juice it gets it. Thats wat causes bulb failure.

its probably the ballast you have a 50 50 shot of getting a good one the flicker is what kills the bulbs
